Monstered Loser Replacement
After losing one of my sub-par gladiators, I managed to get a crappy replacement..he was monstered and then I saw this:
Strength-12
Dexterity-6
Constitution-20
Intelligence-3
Presence-3
Size-11
Anyone have suggestions for a smuck who will actually live a heathly life? Well with his 3 int will be like most of my dumb arses but I thought I ask you guys if you have any good ideas for a long-term gladiator.

18-13-20-5-3-12 Halberd Orc would be way cool! If I could have chosen to have exactly the stats I want, I would have the con at 18 too and put 2 more into size, but that's just because I tend to like my warriors to be a bit larger than average where I can.

Re: Monstered Loser Replacement
If you follow Sliv's route, I would go with less size and a smidge more dex. Unless you are making a horc CS, then keep the size 15.
If you can work with a dummy, then try Dux's idea.
I would be tempted to go take away a point of dex and add a point to str from dux's design and give the guy a ball & chain.

Ball & Chain would be great to see!!! And come to think of it, that extra str would probably make for an easier start with the halberd too. 19 str and 12 dex, would make things a lot easier to manage.

Never have had good luck with the ball and chain. Have had a few good CS orcs who tend to die young after racking up kills. Of course everyone loves dwarves

Well, I'm all for the halberd! You? With his low int maybe a greatpick would be better as you don't need the charge trains. I would also love to see the maul mauling people, but it's been a while since I have seen anyone using maul.

Maul it is! Half-Orc power! Of course how well does CS work with the maul? And should I give him medium armor to start? Or E&W (think the only weapon ive had luck with using it is a long spear)?

Why would you CS with a guy like this?
I'm not saying it couldn't work, but he could certainly do some great stuff with other styles.
Personally, I'd probably have him run offensive. If I were to go defensive, I'd probably opt for Parry.

I will set him up then His last fight had this line With looks that would kill a squirrel, ROMERO forces a frightened expression from GRIM'S REAPER! The next hit I managed said The ref disallows the slaying of ROMERO!
