DETHRONER 2014 Week - 4 Results
DETHRONER 2014 Turn #4 brings with it 16 challenges of which 8 were successful. There were only 16 warriors left and every single one was challenged! Truly impressive onslaught!
Of note this turn is that DUX failed to get a single challenge in, so it looks like he may not have enough warriors in challenge range to pose any threat to MODOFO's lead.
At this point it looks like the game is down to MODOFO and KLAGROK, who each took down two UW warriors. CAM also took down 2, but CAM's overall score lags pretty far behind, so it is pretty unlikely to be of any threat to MODOFO.
On a personal note, I will be removing myself from the competition in order to give KLAGROK the best odds of catching up to MODOFO. I do not care which manager wins, but I would love to see a close contest!

Dux,
16+2 is 18. It is still possible for you or Klagrok to win if you can knock everyone out, but I don't think anyone can knock out Splinter.
The only challenges I could get through this turn were against you. Three against your UW contestants and one trying to shield Ol' Firebelly. We had some good fights. CEER got his first kill against one of my favorite warriors WUNDERKIND KINDA.
RIP WK

I guess I can't add after working for 15 straight hours and skipping meals...
Since, I didn't want to elbowdrop you for NEVAEH, I guess WUNDERKIND kill will have to serve as the BC.
RIP
It was in fact, impossible for me to win DETHRONER as of last turn, as there were only 4 warriors that were in range for my guys to challenge at that time and that were not my allies. Considering that such a high percentage of my warriors are 100+ and I am a part of an alliance and also have many friends that I don't challenge as well, makes DETHROER a difficult prospect for me, but it's still a ton of fun mixing it up anyway!. I think maybe next year, I will not compete, so that the guys who really have a chance can have a better chance of giving you some competition.
OL'FIREBELLY is my bet for UW Lower Champion.
Upper Champion, I don't know because I have yet to fight FTT's warrior, THE SCRUB MEISTER. I don't feel right challenging him because he is a LOD member (well former member because alliances seem to have just faded away), but still, I won't challenge him and I am sure he won't challenge Splinter. So my guess is they will just random until one of them has a bad day. Will be interesting to see who slips up first.

OL' FIREBELLY is a handful, but Vic's warrior ACHOO came very close this turn. I think one more good hit would have won it.
Who were these alliances? The history of Bloodpit is interesting to me since I feel like I started after its prime. I still love it though.

I took out a strategy tweak from ACHOO that I'm regretting. If it had stayed in, the fight would have been his, I believe. Plus, he got his 5th str train this turn... MOAR damage!!!

Yeah, Alliances were huge back in the day.
If I get the time and inclination, I will write something about them.
At one point there was even an alliance competition, which pitted alliance vs alliance to see which was top dog.
LOD came out on top by a long shot.
LOD (which Palor started) was the most powerful alliance in all BP history. The main criterian for entering was of course an invitation from LOD and then a proving term where you had to get some kills.
It was fun.
Palor, Solincar, Dux, Frank The Tank, Caesar Invictus, Black Foxx, Poeg, Lord Kelvin, Lord Dragon were some of the managers in LOD (Legion of Darkness).
