Well the first turn of Kill Fest III started with a whimper....a pathetic total of 22 kills, of which two were by the peasant scum in team fights! So 20
kills count for the first turn. 17 single fight kills, 2 challenge kills in which both the deceased were the challengers! And one team kill. Are we dealing
with real gladiators here? Methinks not.

DRACHIR(354) leads the competition with 3 kills. 3 other managers scrounged up two kills apiece and 11 managers managed to get a kill apiece.
So at least we have managers who got the message! Let us get down to the details of the first week of competition.

Both challenge kills for this week were delivered by the challenged:  SLEAZEE P MARTINEE(137) sent his elf GWAR-B-Q from *CARNIVAL OF CHAOS*(394)
against LITTLE WEAK BRUINFAN a dwarf from the stable BARABARIAN HUNTERS(1807) run by our favorite multi COMMANDER-IN-CHIEF(817). Evidently chaos ruled and the only carnival that we saw was in the stands around the arena after Gwar was Bar B-Qed in a measly two minutes. The fans were not happy. Either was SLEAZEE from what we gather. PALOR(72) sent his half-orc SPIDER MITE from his stable LIVE AND LET DIE(213) against POPE BONIFACE VIII a Halfling from SON OF SATAN'S(149) stable SONS OF SATAN(409). At least this match lasted four minutes. Of course the POPE decided to go with LET DIE and s'mite'd the spider that was sent against him. Will this cause other half orcs to fear VIII? Only time will tell. We believe that soon the POPE we be eating 'CAKE' of the female elvish variety. And he wont like the taste of it.

Only two of the 17 single kills were in the upper ranks of gladiators. Both only lasted two minutes. Must have been fun to read ( ).
SLIV(356) racked up his single kill when his half-elf EVIL MAC killed a fellow half-elf HAMPDEN run by CAM(544). Guess MAC decided to get EVIL on the HAMP.
MORTIFEX, and elf run by WARDANCER(830) took down STALKER(13)'s elf ANOMALY. What an Anomaly that is---both high ranking kills made by pointed ears against their own kind. Talk about mortif'e'ing.

Finally in team fighting we saw the peasant scum kill two warriors....perhaps we need to put them in the running as well STAPLE GUN(319)'s stable COSMIC RELIEF (733) managed to put down ROB ALLEN(773)'s dwarf BRUENOR BATTLEHAMMER from the FLASHING BLADES(1695). It took 3 minutes to win the match much to the relief of STAPLE GUN. Perhaps next week he will run butt TROID with the rest of the RELIEF band. We can only hope.

So here is the list of total kills for the competition. 20 kills....how sad compared to the 37 that started off last years competition. We need to get the kills rolling!

I think it would be interesting to enter the peasants into the rankings. I mean, if a manager can't kill more than the peasants, then it is a sad day, indeed!
