Holy smokes! Is the Pitt finally coming dead (er I mean alive)? 29 kills this turn not counting the one peasant scum team kill. We might actually make something of this contest! We had two BC kills this turn---one was the challenger and one was the challenged. And speaking of challengers getting killed, well of the seven challenge fight kills, six of them were the challengers...will people ever learn? (and two were my gladiators.. ). Of the nineteen regular fight kills, only one was in the upper tier of competition. We even had a team kill fight as well! Six managers each got two kills while seventeen managers gathered one kill each. Eight new managers also decided to join the competition.


VORZHEVA, a dwarf from ILNEVAL(93)'s LAST COMMAND(272) avenged the death of Shelob Timesh on Turn 798 by KLAGROK(641)'s KRAZY KNEE KNOCKER of the FLESH RENDERS(1458). It appears that this was indeed the 'last' command that triple K will ever have to worry about. Krazy's knees were a knocking as his flesh got rendered. So sad(for me). Thanks for polishing off that loser for me Ilneval. Hopefully I will get a nice replacement out of it. At least Krazy held on for three minutes. He had a level 5 perm already to his chest so you just helped him along. Now on to the fun BC kill...where the challenger was the one who bit the dust. TL LIAKOS, a human from THECOLONEL(573)'s CRD(1361) tried to avenge the death of ES SPRINGER on Turn 800 by PERI PERI, CAM(544)'s half-orc from SPICE UP A SNACK(1298). It took four minutes, but Peri Peri did indeed spice up the match and finished the match by leaving a snack for the buzzards. Way to go double Peri!


Now on to our favorite event....the kills from challenges! We will gather in awe as we examine the only true kill of the seven that occured from challenges this turn....the one single fight in which the challenger actually won and exterminated his foe! VAREKAI, BIG BAD BRUINFAN(173)'s halfling from PIT DU SOLEIL(452) decided to go against BOB MOORE(388)'s BRON, a halfling from THE ANIMALS(860) and took him down in three minutes. There is nothing big and bad about watching two pipsqueaks go at it, but BRON will be feeding the 'animals' now. Varekai has dug him a pit he will never come out of. What a pity. Our hearts bleed. Now on to the six failed challenges in which the gladiators who sought to get a kill ended up on the wrong end of a weapon--permanently! EZE, BIG BAD BRUINFAN(173)'s elf from THE ETERNAL STRUGGLE(430) took two minutes to end the life of VIENTE CUATRO, CHI (828)'s elf from NUMBERS(820). VIENTE CUATRO lived up to his name...his final fight was his 24th loss! It was "e"-"z" for Big Bad's elf to get Viente's number, and as a result Chi will be eternally struggling to figure out went wrong with this challenge. Next we have ROAD RAGE, JINX(907)'s human from EVOLUTION OF SIN(2004) putting down SURTUR(891)'s dwarf ANDROID 15 from FORCE(1969). It did take six minutes for this case of road rage to run its course, but in the end the only force a certain android felt was the 'sin' of murder. In a five minute dance of death, CHRONOS, THE BAD GUY(847)'s elf from GODS AND GODESSES(1868) challenged and died facing QUEEN OF SORROW, SLEAZEE P MARTINEE(137)'s elven female from WEWHOARENOTASOTHERS(354). Queen is definitely not as others, and Chronos only brought sorrow to his stable. I quess Chronos will now be spending time with his Gods and Godesses. But hey when you challenge Sleazee that is usually what happens. DELENN, PRECISION(882)'s female halfling from BABYLON 5(1929) decided to challenge CHOP EM TIL DAY DROP, KLAGROK(641)'s dwarf from EMPTY PROMISES(1502). Four minutes later and Chop Em fulfilled his promise to Delenn, and dropped her into an empty grave. KLAGROK(641) sent his half-orc I HAVE A CRUSH ON U from EMPTY PROMISES(1502) against YQUOG, MASTER OF WAR(892)'s half-orc from MASTERS OF WAR(1957). Five minutes later and Yquog showed us who is the master. IHACOU delivered an empty promise and was crushed forever. So sad as he had too many perms already, but hey quess who gets to BC elbow-drop....you got it Chop Em. He goes for six kills now. Guess that worked out for me after all. And I got a good roll-up to boot. The last challenger kill also belongs to KLAGROK(641)--I sent NECKSNAPPER, a half-orc female from SHATTERED HOPES(1449) against SLICE AND DICE, a half-elf female from FURY(894)'s YOU ARE NOT PREPARED(2072). Well Necksnapper was indeed not prepared to shatter my hopes. Fury's gladiator sliced and diced Necksnapper's neck and shattered my hopes(well not for a elbow-drop BC muhaaahaaa).

The one respectable singles fight kill took just two minutes to run it's course. GROUCHO, DEVIL(803)'s elf from ELVES(1769) killed CRABBIT, SLIV(356)'s half-elf from THE CAMSAX KILLERS(1473). The only killing done here was not done by the Camsax but by elves.

For the team kill, in a five minute bout between CLIFF BANANA(345)'s stable A PANTS TALE(916) and STAPLE GUN(319)'s stable DON'T TREAD ON ME(741)Staple's halfling SALAMANDER was indeed tread on and the only tale we know about this fight is that a certain halfling no longer has to worry about wearing pants.

Overall we have 109 kills after five weeks. In first place with six kills is Drachir. Next we have Ilneval, Cam and Klagrok tied with five kills each. Devil and the Bad Guy have four, eleven managers have three, thirteen managers have two kills and twenty-one managers are in the running with a single kill each. Let us try for forty kills this upcoming week!

Cam, to be honest, I am proud that he is doing bet than I am.  

To say that I am not a little jealous of some of his warriors though would be a lie.  He's got a warrior that loves to train so much she has only missed one round of it for over thirty rounds.  I think he told me 50 trains in 33 rounds.    .

50 trains in 33 fights is pretty great! Hopefully the trains are focused in areas that will keep the gladiator alive.

I would think so. I would have to ask him. All that I know is that the warrior Komodo Dragon survived 5 total rounds of blood challenges against warriors with 20-30 more fights than her and beat them in three of those five.

I have never had any crazy trainers in my stables much to my annoyance

My guys always start with a decent Int and I always try and get con and int trained asap , decent trainers but no one had really stood out.

sometimes you just need to hit the mojo.

I've got one genius in my stables. The dwarf trains well enough with 5 masteries in 70+ fights but I started him off with the wrong axe. I should have started him off it a Francisca instead of a battle axe. for his starting strength of 14, he would have done better.
