Kill Fest III, Turn 9 Final Results
Well, well, well. Finally a turn worth writing about...too bad it was the last one. Twenty-nine kills this ninth and final turn of Kill Fest III! 205 kills total. Nowhere near the 264 we had last year. But hey at least we passed 200! This turn Palor decided to make a run for it and took three lives. Cam, Ul, Stalker and D-man each took two lives and eighteen managers each got a kill. One even joined the Kill Fest! Kudos to Cam! His two kills put him in a unreachable first place position!
Well guess we went back to the usual with the challenge fights...2 losses and one successful. THE HIGH PRIEST(897)'s halfling SIR GEORGE from KARMA(2044) challenged JINX(907)'s halfling CRAZY EYEBROWS from THE CUTTING EDGE(1987) It took two minutes but Sir George delivered the cutting edge and shaved his opponents crazy eyebrows and head from his body(or so we assume). Too bad we wont be able to write about karma coming around to Sir George. I see a certain Dragon looking for kill number 5.
Now onto the two sad attempts at challenges that ended in the death of those who initiated them. First we have BIG BAD BRUINFAN (173)'s elf MAKO from KISS OF DEPTH(481) going for THE UNSPEAKABLE ONE(852)'s halfling RIMMER from MY HOODED HORDES(1873). This sad attempt only lasted one minute with Mako receiving the kiss of 'depth' from a certain unspeakable one. Many hooded folk were seen rimming the crowd. Also another failed attempt was when JIM BOWEN, ARRIAN(896)'s dwarf from SPAWNS OF HELL(1963) lost a match and his life when he went for LETHARGY, JINX(907)'s dwarf from EVOLUTION OF SIN(2004). This dwarf was not lethargic at all, and sent Jimmy boy on a one way trip to be the newest spawn of hell.
We had some notable deaths in the single matches as well. CAM(544)'s halfling DORSET NAGA from SPICE UP A SNACK(1298) faced off against UVULAITIS, POPPA BALROG(339)'s dwarf from ABBY NORMAL(780). Nothing abnormal here as Dorset spiced up a nice snack indeed with a three minute kill. The only 'C'orset Uvulaitis will be wearing is to keep his whole as they bury him. Methinks his uvulitis was caused by Dorset's weapon. Next we have VESUVIUS, THE BADMAN(451)'s half-orc from ODDBALLS(1320) getting his 8th kill in a four minute match against NATURE(848)'s dwarf HAGFISH from WEIRD CREATURES(1866). Bad's half-orc did indeed erupt and we saw a very weird creature indeed bite the dust. It is only 'natur'al for something as weird as a hagfish(an oddball indeed) to be crushed by a half-orc. Well done Vesuvius!
We also had NEK CERPENS, ARRIAN(896)'s human from THE DEATHSTALKERS(1965) pitted against FREEWAY, PRIMUS(838)'s dwarf from AUTOBOTS: 2005(1846). It took four minutes but death did indeed stock a certain autobot. Nek demolished the freeway permanently and it was not on the big screen. Just on our little Turn Newsletter. Finally we had LION RAMPANT, CAM(544)'s halfling from UP YER KILT(1273) taking two minutes to kill off HOUNSLOW WEST, THE HIGH PRIEST(897)'s elf from WARRIORS OF THE TUBE(1995). A lion did indeed run rampant(can halflings be considered lions or perhaps it should be Kitten Rampant ) and Priest's elf set off to the west prematurely and in a tube(coffin) and not on a ship.
Cam lived up to expectations and with his ten kills outclassed and outshined the rest of us. Drachir came close with another kill that put him in 2nd place with eight kills. Vic, Klagrok and The Bad Guy all did nada this turn but still ended up tie for third with seven kills apiece(well I will take 17-8 over a lower win total with kills any day). Four managers had six kills apiece, nine managers had five, six managers had four kills each, twelve had three kills, eleven had two kills each and fourteen managers at least managed to get kills to get on the list.
We need more kills next year folks! We the fans demand to see BLOOD! So please do not disappoint next year. Start preparing those killers now.

Cheers Matey, I think that is the oldest warrior I have ever planted
Im delighted , been trying to get into the hall of fame for ages . To win two tourneys in a matter of months is like winning the lotto.
Thanks Klag for running the touney im sure you are mental busy with life like the rest of us so thanks for giving up some valuable time.
The write ups have been the highlight of my Bloodpit week ( no matter what my results)
I would also like to send out a special thanks to all the managers would made this win possible, thanks for the fodder

Thanks guys....I will edit this one in a bit as well as turns 6 and 7. Yes been busy especially since my stinking twin brother hooked me into playing a game I haven't played for 30 years . Now if I could just get the idiot to play this game.

I had an understanding date last weekend, and she sat on the sofa, knitting, while I quickly read my fights. Not the best record, but some amazing trains.

Yes I actually had 24 trains overall, which for me is awesome. Used to seeing the 'nothing' line.
