Being Patient leads to warrior redemption

Post  Cam_ on Sat Jan 07, 2017 6:06 am

So back in the mists of time I was thinking about sending my Finesse elf Accursed to the monsters.
After 70 fights on Turn 769 he was sitting at 37-33-5. We can all agree its not a very good record.
I held off because 5 kills for an Elf was pretty good but if his record dropped below 50% win ratio he was Monster chew toy.
Well 100 fights later on last turn he is sitting at 101-69-9. Still not a great record but he is 64-36-4 for his last 100 fights against arguably harder competition. Same armour , same strats and same weapon.
So have a second thought when your warrior is on the chopping block, with a few key trains it might turn around!

ACCURSED is a brutal warrior. I never like facing him. You were wise to keep him. Kills can certainly help sway one's decision.

I had an APPLE NEWTON type warrior that I monstered around 60ish fights because of his poor training and so-so performance. I wonder if he'd still be alive today? One never knows in the Pit.

With 25 warriors it is easier to monster than if you only had one team. I try not to, but sometimes they just annoy you too much

I recall back when I was first managing, having a halfling who started 18-2-0 and I was thrilled. But then he went 6-22-0 and got nuked, despite having great stats and training well. The fun value totally left this guy and he was begging to become monster food.
