PITT LORD 120-75-14 Half-Orc - Battle flail

24-21-15-12-6-19
Mastered in all primary skills
Perms - moderate

PITT LORD is a remake of PITT the hour-glass dual shield Horc.
PITT LORD was designed to be a more long-term version that would take less perms yet get more kills.
The stats were nearly identical, with PL starting with a 7 con vs PITT's 6 in exchange for PL having one less in INT (started at 5).

I decided to have PITT LORD focus on a battle flail instead of tower shields and to have him use PARRY instead of CS.
The result of this was that PL took less perms but also had a somewhat less fashionable win/loss record. Still the kills were VERY admirable.
PITT LORD lived almost his entire life on PARRY with WOS as a backup and a wee bit of CS.

Things got really rough for PITT LORD in his last 50 odd fights, where he was less than 50% w/l.
I just couldn't dial in his strats to where he had a real good balance of offense and defense.
It also didn't help that he is identical to the warrior he was stat and skill-wise 50 fights back.
The only difference between PITT LORD at 195 fights and PL at 145 is that he has 4 hammer trains
and 3 open hand trains and an extra pre train, which doesn't make any difference in his fights.
Funny thing about PITT LORD is that he was designed to just freak out at 300 fights.
My target for him was 25-25-24-14-10-19. Needless to say, that didn't happen. He needed a lot more
trains in Con to get it up that high, which was going to take dedicated training. As he was already
mastered in all the other skills he needed, and he was looking good perm-wise, I really could have
taken the time to get his stats up similar to what LUKA did.

Fortunately, a few turns back I decided to try running PITT LORD in the same way as I did MISERY.
I had never tried it before because frankly PITT LORD didn't have the stats for it in my opinion.
To my surprise he did very well with it and I felt I had finally found his sweet spot. At the time
I figured I would be able to run him with great success for the next 100 turns if I wanted to.
The only problem was I didn't want to run anyone that long. Last week, unexpectedly, I had the
sudden inspiration to send him and three others (Troll Hunter Korh, the other Pitt Lord and Boriel) to
the monsters. As I have found repeatedly in my life that sort of clear, sudden inspiration tends to bring about
powerful results, I monstered all four warriors without hesitation.

Later when I thought about the Monster mash, I figured that Boriel and Pitt Lord (Horc) would give me
my best odds of winning. The dwarven Pitt Lord would have a slight chance to win, and Trolly would just
be a damage spunge until he died. As I didn't have much experience running PITT LORD in his new strat,
I was least confident about him matching with PAIN - there simply is no warrior around that runs like him
other than my own warrior Boriel, which PAIN just got finished killing...

AND let's see who we get to fight this fine evening...PAIN!!! FOUR TIMES PAIN!
Well, I lost all three of the previous encounters, and two of them were fairly close,
I suppose it makes sense that with my new setup, and a battle flail eating up leather armor, that
this Horc might have a chance against the Legendary PAIN. HERE WE GO!

A sweep has a maximum damage potential of 11 or 12 points if I recall. That means that this is probably the biggest hit I have ever seen in this game! I've single hit killed small con, 3 size warriors before, but PAIN has probably about 62 HP with his Elf minus included. That means that he's already down to 15 or less HP. That means that this one hit was upwards of 37 points! The average "The weapon is drenched with blood!" is between 11-13 points of damage. HOLY!!! Needless to say, PITT LORD is currently quite far ahead in this fight.]

NADS, if you're around, my hat's off to your work with PAIN. That warrior was a true MONSTER!

SPECIAL NOTE: Aren't you guys curious what would have happened if two of my warriors had killed PAIN?
What would happen to that Monster slot? I wonder if Keeper has a contingency plan for that event?
I say a bunch of managers should mass monster on the same turn in hopes of killing off the same monster twice...let's go down the rabbit hole!
Last but most importantly, no monster is unbeatable. PITT LORD awaits!
