Which monsters would you most and least prefer to have Tibor fight?

I think of Lore Darious as unbeatable, but that may be because he was already a pit god when I started. Not sure about anyone else but I tend to think Tibor could give anyone a fight.

Is Vic still doing this thread? I know he's had some crazy family commitments lately. If anyone gets a chance, my shortsword halfling, Nessie bumped Boggle off the 150 fight halfling record a few turns ago.

I don't know which turn that last kill came in on but it is second place for halfling kills.

Just been playing with some numbers to try and get a metric to tell me which warriors and which managers have been the most awarded here.

This is what I have for ratings of awards so far:
Monster = 20 points
Keeper Tourney winner = 20 points
Competion winner = 10 points
"Ever" record winner = 1-10 points
Bi-racial record winner = 1-5 points

I checked 3 warriors so far to see how they stack up:
1. Lord Darius = 85 points
2. Misery = 82 points
3. Ratyr = 80 points

Keeping a metric like this might provide a little more motivation for managers to try and get more records.
This same metric could be applied to managers as well, but I would not want to do it by hand, so for now I will pass on it. If anyone were willing to code a quick metric calculator that would be awesome, then I could post the manager rankings by awards as well. Anyway, I am just toying with the concept for now - not sure I will do anything with it or not. Any thoughts?

*these metrics are time-based. For example, if a human were to knock LD down in his ranks a slot, it would reduce his score and give Misery the edge. The way it works, next year, Ratyr might be on top just because MISERY and LD's records got pushed down a bit by new record achievements. The most difficult road to hoe now is probably Dwarves just because they are so popular and so many new awards are being earned by them.

The award score for managers could by the manager's total fights to get a pound for pound ranking that is not dependent upon total fight number.
If it were not divided in this way then an old manager like me would be pushed to the top based on how many awards I got just from being here a long tome.

This warrior award metric would be subject to Vic's approval or course. I am just playing with the idea and making a suggestion.
I can see that the manager metric might be too difficult to do.

It would call for more than the usual txt search strings I employ to check records. It is a great idea that I would love to see implemented. I would have to give it some serious consideration, but before cycling my brain cells on that topic, I would update the records to reflect the last several weeks worth of activity, and the Kill Fest winner. I've been rather saturated with photography gigs and not had time to maintain the records properly, and I'm going out of town for a few weeks for the holidays, which will hinder my duties further. :/

If you don't mind, I can do some updating to help you out.
I could put together the streak records and the killfest I suppose.
I happen to have a little time this evening where I could probably get that stuff done at least.

That would put Ratyr, for example at the top of the list in all likelihood.

What about my warrior, KROL MANGLEDFLESH of ORCS OF THE PALEHAND (358) went 23-0-4, going from 1-2-0 to 24-2-4, being on LONGEST WINNING STREAK EVER (1-99 fights)? He was from the old client.

Well after adding the streak numbers into this metric, Ratyr joins the lead with LD.

I checked 3 warriors so far to see how they stack up:

This is how the calculations work
Monster = 20 points
Keeper Tourney winner = 20 points
Competion winner = 10 points
"Ever" record winner = 1-10 points
Bi-racial record winner = 1-5 points

These warriors will lose metric rating over time as other warriors take over award slots from them and depending on which records are taken first it may cause shifting in the ranks where one warrior loses ranking and another does not - so this metric is relative to the present only. Still it is kind a fun to see where your warriors stack up to these Legends.

I went ahead and edited the rankings and added my GURGLE (pocket rocket) to tie LOPHOMASTIX for the #10 spot with 21-0-0 out the gate.

Don't know what possessed me to do it, but I spent A LOT of time on it because it all has to be done manually - there is no way to search for streaks via batch files that I know of. But anyway, I feel better that it is done. Hopefully people will look at it and speak up where warriors are missing. I did my best, but there is just no way I could check every warrior ever born in this game. I just checked the warriors that already had records or did notable things to find the list above.
