ELFKILLER'S DEATH

ELFKILLER 155-87-7

Elfy was the 2nd Longest Lived Orc ever and one of the best as well.

Elfkiller was born to the Pit on turn 219. Elfy came exactly 15 turns turns after Misery' debut.

She was designed to be very close in nature to Misery but with three important differences. She was made to be slightly less tough but slightly more intelligent. I gave her a military pick instead of the great pick which Misery used so efficiently. Elfy focused hard on skills and less so on stats as compared with Misery who really excelled with the stats.


Elfy ran TK for her first 32 fights after which she switched to Bash and strike which she used until about 150 fights where she went to a primary WOS setup. At 200 she went mostly defensive with CS and Parry, but she sprinkled in a fair bit of WOS and even Surestrike and Decoy from time to time to mix things up. Elfkiller died on her 243rd fight against a long time rival Total Trauma. Elfy and Total Trauma had gone back and forth in terms of dominance over a span of years as styles, weapons changed. It was fitting that Elfy's final fight was with Total Trauma. I only wish it was a better fight. The first hit of the fight was a perm kill, so not much of a read.

I worked hard trying to find a strat that lifted Elfy up above the rest of the top warriors, but alas, I never did find that hotspot. She really needed a new weapon to make the most of her stats, but she wasn't bright enough to even consider it when considering how permed up she was. Elfy had 5 popzones at the time of her death, so it was no real surprise when she finally went. I had hoped that she would be able to hang on until Misery was ready for the monsters, so they could go together. Misery and Elfkiller were life partners and they wanted to enter into death together as partners. Alas it wasn't to be. Although I do not think Elfy really had it in her to beat any of the current monsters without a fair measure of luck, she deserved the chance. She served my stable with honor and deserves this this honorable write-up.

Total Trauma was the warrior to take the credit for the kill, but it was Hognosed that did all the priming. That warrior really tore Elfy up. In Elfy's last 20 fights she really was a mess of Hognosed originated permage. Elfy's last fight was a one hit, one kill event, so not much to see there.
