Hey guys, just wanted run a test of the results to see how they look.
As of this moment, there are about 50 warriors signed up in ODDBALL II  

I've spent quite a bit of time setting things up so that the results could be had with a few clicks of the mouse (bat file searches).
Now that I have the formatting done and the bat files setup, things should be pretty easy to see. There are a few anomalies due to warriors with similar names on the same team causing doubling up of results, but other than that, it's all pretty straight forward.

Hey guys, I just heard from UL and found that he has a greatsword using MELF that is 24-9-1, which is a very proven record. But after looking around, it's clear that there are others out there as well that are doing quite well with the greatsword, so I would say it is a very proven weapon. We will BAN it from the contest for that reason (even if you prepared a warrior specifically for this contest not knowing it was a proven design.) To be fair and true to the nature of the contest, GREATSWORDS and Elves/Half-elves should not be allowed.

Please let me know if you have a GS MELF, so I can remove them from the list.

Hi guys, just wanted to let you know that I am removing both Pulse and Shish from the contest due to not getting the trains they need to make RW work by the start of the contest. To run them unprepared at their level of competition would be a death-sentence. Hopefully, some other managers will be able to make some RW warriors shine!

Hi guys, if you don't mind, I'll try to keep Pulse in it for another turn or two in hopes that she gets the trains she needs. I have made some changes to hopefully help her out and minimize the negatives she's taking so she doesn't get killed. So I'd like to see if she can pull it together given a little more time.

Hey Modofo, I see Magnus P. was driven into the pile this turn. Was he using his ODDBALL strat at the time he died? Just curious if he ever got a chance to test it out.

Hey Validian, was HAOLIN MURDOCK using his oddball strats when he died?

Guess you need to remove DECAY OF GRANDEUR... He's using a GS. When I first designed him I wanted to try out the GS, but his starting CON wouldn't allow him to train STR like I'd hoped. Then this contest gave me an opportunity to try it again now that he's got his STR up. Although, he still needs a couple more skills in GS and no longer a contestant in the ODDBALL II, I will give it a shot at the top levels of the game when he gets those last two skills.

He's been using a GREAT STAFF for a few turns now... My stable has had the fortune of facing his brutality twice!

Not sure if you'd want to include him even if his manager hadn't...

Also, just so y'all know... None of my guys have used their ODDBALL strat until either this turn or beginning next turn. So whatever their record is now wasn't done with an ODDBALL strat.

Nice to know Half-Scrub is using greatstaff! That is way cool! But I won't include him in the contest though, as he may choose to switch back to his old weapon at some point, and he presumably could have joined on his own had he wanted to. But ODDBALL is pretty normal for FTT anyway, so maybe he isn't all that interested in publicizing it.

Looking forward to seeing how everyone does with their oddball starts. I tried only two of my warriors with their oddball strats this turn. Went 1-1, but the one win was really brutal, so that is pretty cool. The loss was pitiful though.
But, the only way to get an oddball strat to work is to work it,

If you allow, I'd like to enter Dee(795), Pickaxe Helf, 1-1 as of 689. She's fought with that both fights so far. If you let her in I wont switch to poleaxe  

Seeing as I have all my I's crossed and T's dotted for the contest  , I guess I can't find any reason why Fusion shouldn't be allowed to join with his Melf. Good luck, Fusion!

I have an elf with winning record with a pick axe. I think it's 34/17 (Frank Allen). So not sure if this would affect the entry of fusions warrior

Man, this stinks! I wish I had known that a week ago. Fusion may not be the only manager with a pick ax MELF. There may be quite a few of them and the contest starts TOMORROW.  GRRR!!!!!  There isn't enought time for everyone to see the MELF Pick ax ban if I enabled it before the contest starts.

It needs to be banned though, so as much as I hate to do it, MELF Pickax is out. Sorry to anyone that this affects.

Please let me know if you have a MELF Pickax so I can take them off the list.

Ah poop! I apparently didn't upload the changes for Pulse to go back to her ODDBALL strat, and so she fought with her usual setup instead, which disqualifies her from the contest...
