OK. So the laptop I have been running all my turns off of so far is temporarily defunct.

I DL'd the BPclient to this one I am borrowing for the afternoon.

I think I am correct about my manager # (928 REBECCA BUCK) in the server...

And I knew my password/login in for this forum.

But NOWHERE in my gmail am I able to find my password to get onto the server and make some last minute adjustments today, (or god forbid, check my results tonight)

I tried using all my usual passwords and I don't think it's any of them.

How the hell do I access what password was assigned (or what variant of my current passwords I used 3 months ago and have now forgotten.)

I will have my laptop fixed within a day or two and this will resolve, but for future reference and FFS, how do I recover my password for my teams???

You don't.

Might I recommend zipping up your BP Client directory and gmailing it to yourself as a bulwark against a future repeat of this situation.

I'm not even sure what that means, tbh...

The BPclient I dl'd today was not even zipped. And this laptop is a Mac and I am accustomed to running Linux Mint on a patchwork laptop...

Well my standard password is too long for BPclient parameters...

So I am sure I made a variation of it, which I now forget.

Am I doomed to lose these teams?

Should I start looking at starting a new Manager account from scratch.

This is your best hope of reaching Keeper. Keep it short and sweet and summarize everything in the title with something like "BLOOD PIT: User #938 needs password reset please"

I suggest sending the email from the address associated with the account, perhaps suggest a new password, thank him profusely for running this game that we all love.

I emailed him a second time telling him I fixed my OG laptop. But I am still locked out.

I really hope I am not bothering him and he shows mercy on me like the Ref sometimes does

Well it's Monday and I am locked out of my account.

Did my teams run?

Has anyone ever gone through this sort of thing?

If Keeper never notices my emails, or opts to not care, then I don't see how it is immoral for me to start another Manager account.

I would realllly like to continue running these teams, but seem to be in jinx limbo at the moment.

Never been in your position before, If it was me i would give it another week and if i still couldn't get in to my account i would create a new account.

And with a dead guy, your account is not set to run next saturday. :/

Yeah I am gonna send Keeper one more message today. And if he doesn't reply by Sunday, or if my account is not unlocked by Saturday, then I am making a new manager account after my Rebecca Buck teams miss a turn because of something out of my control.

I will not run both if my old one ever gets restored. But I am fucked by admin negligence in my view of the situation.

Oh well. I am not mad. But I will not lose the ability to play this game because of the odd situation.

Also might you please tell me who died?

I will be opening a second manager account on Sunday if this is not resolved by then.

I will use the name LELU DALLAS. If anyone did not know Rebecca Buck is Tank Girl's real name. I am a sci fi nerd.

If anyone has a problem with me opening a second managaer account, despite being unable to use my first one, please let me know.

I have no intention of running both, if the first is ever restored.

I will also be recycling the names I used for my first 6 teams, as they all come from the fiction I write.

I am only superficially acquainted with the Tank Girl universe. I would say, if your new mgr account is doing much better than your first, it might not be so bad to let the old one die.
