SKIPPY has trained in nothing

Hay look a win!            Skippy is 25(18)-25(12)-25(12)-25(18)-13(3)-8   The throw change almost lost him this one and will probably be what gets him killed, but at least he made it!

I edited your post (yay, admin powers!) and hit preview twice, to magically put the fight formatting back in place, so the fight is easier to read.  I did the same with the APPLE v THRAKAZOG fight, but forgot to mention it in my reply there.

SKIPPY is one of the elite, few, singles gladiators (not peasant scum padded) to hit the 25-25-25-25-x-x threshold!  Congratulations!  And to see it with a size 8, as opposed to APPLE's size 3, makes it all the more impressive!  

Despite knowing the outcome of the fight, I still thought SKIPPY was farked when he was disarmed.  Nothing like a 25 int to help a gladiator pick up the correct weapon!  This was a very thrilling read and will go down in history as a classic monster fight!

I knew SKIPPY was going to be trouble by the second fight my stable had against him.  On turn 858 my stiletto/target shield hybrid KETSCH (69-35-5) handily defeated SKIPPY (72-30-2), but then just 10 turns later, the tables were turned, and SKIPPY (80-32-2) not only easily defeated KETSCH (77-37-5) but also handed him second permanent injury (his first being the turn prior -- I was amazed at how long KETSCH went without a perm - 113 fights!).

Then my stilettoeer wunderkind picked up his 100th win in his first fight against SKIPPY on turn 876, but 13 weeks later, in a fight with many frustrating failed disarm attempts (SKIPPY loves his trident!) SKIPPY (97-36-3) defeated EVISCETRYX (108-43-1).  Fast forward to turn 966 and SKIPPY  (150-57-7) easily defeated my stilettoeer FLAVOR OF PAIN (123-68-4).

SKIPPY's fight with SHUSH was thrilling, brutal and quick and I put SKIPPY's loss down to a failed boar spear throw, which as you say, is his Achille's heel as a monster.  I hope whichever manager faces SKIPPY in the future is as generous with their fight as you are.

However, the outcome wasn't surprising after reading the fight...  I knew the endurance tweaks that the Keeper has been doing lately would be TNL's undoing.

TNL had Skippy in heavy damage by the middle of the first minute and then got his "somewhat tired" statement at the end of minute 1 and was very tired by the middle of minute 2.  

So not a big surprise...  Disappointing, but not surprising.

Don't get me wrong, Skippy is no slouch...  He's kicked many of my warriors' asses!  In fact, I'm guessing that more than one of those 9 kills, prior to TNL, were some of my stable.  

Overall, congrats on getting yourself a new Monster!
