SKIPPY (Fusion) 181-69-8 Half-Elf - Trident *MONSTER

We've seen two bittersweet monster fights in a row as managers have faced off against their former gladiators. SKIPPY is the second fighter to reach Ultimate Gladiator status with 25s in str-dex-con-int, the first being APPLE NEWTON and the third, REPLACEMENT BO.

Those two throws from SKIPPY are what all managers imagine their gladiators will do when they plug in that trigger.

Crazy thing was that his con and dex started at 12. The only guy I've gotten 13 trains in a stat on, and he did it twice!
The throws may leave him open at some point but I think they saved his life against Melt Down. I don't think I realized how close this was till I read it over. Melt Down's record wasn't that great but he was good. Still, not sure if you get Valhalla if you die from a sweep

It's been a number of years now, but I don't think Dux ever had a warrior get more than 10 trains in anything. Again, awesome fight, Fusion!

Damn VERY nice!  No wonder SKIPPY came out of nowhere to become a badass, getting trains like that!

SKIPPY raised my eyebrows pretty early in his career... around 100 fights if I recall correctly.  I'll do some research and post some highlights.

The reason this caught my eye was from how quickly the tables had turned from their first matchup.  Also, this was KETSCH's second perm ever (the first being received the week prior from Sleazee's NOTHING LEFT ALIVE).  I think it was also a lvl 3 ab perm if memory serves.  It was a very WHERE DID THAT COME FROM kind of fight.  Oh, then there's the fact that "Skippy" was a nickname of mine in high school, so the name certainly stuck out for me.  Fusion, you did my old nickname proud!
