Kill Fest IV

Ok peeps of the Pitt....as I have returned and the UW contest isn't for a few more months..should we have a Kill Fest tournament to end the year?  I know i usually ran it towards the end of summer but as there are no contests or tournaments presently....  Let me know what the Pitt wants!

Let's start it next week, so it won't end too close to UW!

Well Vic I would like to give peeps time to change their strategies...so I think if we do start it, we start 11/29. So if we go 9 weeks we would be done the week before the Super Bowl which is when the UW usually starts.

UW starts the week after the Super Bowl, so if you ran 10 weeks it runs right to the beginning of UW.

Maybe hold Killfest after UW?

That might work.  Let's see if anyone chimes in.  

I say we make UW interesting this year by having the kill contest before UW, so only the true bad asses will take the UW trophy this year!  

I also see kill fest as a great excuse to avenge UW challenges.

Well I rolled the dice and came up with Kill Fest happening after the UW unless the turn runs before I get home from my flight as had no access to Java while out of town. If the turns runs before I can look at my turns I have the tag line posted for starting tomorrow. Hope the Keeper is working on fixing something this weekend

To give yourself a buffer, you can say Kill Fest IV starts 2 weeks after UW ends.

Here’s hoping for a quick UW this year

Well peeps it appears that the UW is about over and that Modofo will win it all and get the sack of sheckels for both titles (unless NADS pulls out a win of course!).  So I am thinking that the Kill Fest should start on Momma's Day the 9th of May (what could a mother want more than her gladiator boy/girl to chop an opponent into the afterlife? Absolutely nothing ).  Let me know what you all think.  I already have a few targets in mind.

The rules will be as they were for the other Kill Fests:

1) All kills but PEASANT kills count towards a manager's total.
2) Team Kills (with the exception of rule #1) count as well.
3) Blood Challenge kills count towards a manager's total. Hoping to see MANY of these as well as some feuds....
4) Contest will run for 8 weeks, unless there is no winner in which case it will continue week to week until one manager has the most kills.

The blasted thing is, I'm keeping my usual gaggle of suspects on my no-challenge list, narrowing the scope of my Murderdar.  As fun as it would be to murder all of Modofo's gladiators to provide him with endless temporary gladiator fun, I think I'll settle for our random matchups... provided Stalker doesn't murder everyone involved before that eventuality.
