    Well turn 4 of Kill Fest 4 is in the books with another sub-tacular showing. 21 gladiators have breathed for the last time, but only twenty were killed by their fellow managers:  one was killed by the REF (so he won’t be on the list but his kill still counts for the total kills).  This turn three managers dealt out two kills and fourteen managed to get one kill.  So after four weeks of fun in the sun (well three blah turns and one good one) we have a total of 86 kills in four weeks.  Well perhaps the fear of Covid 274 is keeping all the fans away to cheer on their favorite killers? Or perhaps the nasty halfling strain is running amuck? Who knows but the fans better return to cheer on their killers or we might have to call this Bore Fest.  SANGUINE SAVIOR, PALOR and SAMURAI!!11 are in the lead with five kills apiece. We have 4 managers tied for 2nd with 4 kills apiece and 3 tied for 2nd with 3 kills. Heck the way it is going now it is anyone's game to see who wins!

     We did have one challenge kill this week.  THE WARLORD’s human REED of THE STREET FIGHTER’s challenged GREYMATTER SPLATTER,  MODOFO’s dwarf from his I WANT TO BE A CLOWN team.  It took three minutes, but GS was not clowning around as he planted a certain street fighter in the ground like a reed after splattering Reed’s grey matter all over the sand and the fans.  The half orcs in the stands got an extra treat better than popcorn!
    We also had five more veteran gladiators who will fight no more take an “early” and “permanent” break from fighting.  Hopefully their families will give them nice eulogies!  So sad to see veterans die.  But hey, at least they bring some excitement to this report!   The first old coot to bite the big one was WILL ROBINSON, a human from PRECISION’s team LOST IN SPACE who died after a three minute fight with the human DOCTOR DIM-WIT of MODOFO’s team BETTER OFF DEAD.  DD-W proved he was no dummy as he sent Will to the stars and and proved that Will was indeed better off dead instead of being lost in space. Danger Will Robinson, danger! It was indeed a doctor who did you in just not Dr. Smith.
    The next high level geezer to permanently hit the freezer was DEVIL’s human DARLA from HUMANS who was put down quickly by TASSELHOFF KILLFOOT, TAKAMURA’s  halfling from the MRDR CORE FELLOWSHIP.  Darla was not the darling this fight and TK did indeed kill Darla with some tassels and a foot or two.  The only fellowship Darla is joining is the ranks of the dead.  BLUE EYES’s dwarf KARESH VAR from THE GREAT SONG was taken out by PELOQUIN, SANGUINE SAVIOR’s half elf from SHADOWS IN EDEN in a two minute duel to the death.  KV is now in Eden after Peloquin sang him a song about blue eyes....so I guess in this fight Karesh Var was the poor wretch.
    The fourth high level “peloquin” was WINTERS BREATH versus OLBAS PASTILLES  
in a three minute match.  SANGUINE SAVIOR’s half orc from MXC was no match for THE MANIPULATOR’s half elf from TEMPTATIONS.  OP could not resist the temptation to take the final breath from Sanguine’s gladiator.  This olbas was a pastilles that WB could’ve swallow (perhaps due to a missing throat?).  The final fight was between MUSES’s dwarf ACHILLES from THE CLASSICS and SERION, GERN BLASTEN’s half elf from the PATCHWORK PUMMELERs in a short two minute fight.  Serion pummeled Achilles in the heel and made a patchwork of his body.  So much so that it was hard to tell if he was a dwarf or a halfling.  Guess that was one dwarf who wasn’t serio”us” about living.  Shed a tear for him and the others we lost this turn.
    In other “exciting” action, a fight between DROTT, a human from SURTUR’s DARKNESS & LIGHT and EXPLOSIVE RUNES, VENGENCE’s dwarf from SPELLS was called after a ten minute match in which they both looked at each other waiting for the other guy to do something.  ER lived up to his name after the REF dropped a large stone (we assume) on his head and “runed” his day and life permanently. It was definitely explosive whatever it was, unlike their match which seemed to last from light to darkness.  DROTT did pick a win however.  Fans of the REF await his next match with eager anticipation.
