Well folks Week 10 was another blood bath and even with UNBALANCED racking up an awesome four kills this week, ACRO MANTULA takes the title of Kill Fest V Champion with eleven total kills.  His closest competitor was SAMURAI!!11 with nine kills. Congratulations to ACRO MANTULA for taking home the trophy of best killer!  




We had a total of twenty-nine kills with UNBALANCED getting four kills this week, followed by D-MAN and ACRO MANTULA with three kills, three managers with two kills and thirteen managers with one kill each.  This brings our total for this Kill Fest to 260.  So, a little over average for kills this week.  In the end, we have ACRO MANTULA with eleven kills, SAMURAI!!11 with nine kills, three managers with eight kills, three managers with seven kills, seven managers with six kills, nine managers with five kills, ten managers with four kills, fifteen managers with three kills, eight managers with two kills and seven managers with one kill each.  




This week we only had one challenge kill, three veteran kills and two team kills (from the same team!). The challenge kill was the challenger! My dwarf SHAVIN YER FACE from the BONE SNAPPERS challenged THE BAD GUY's half-orc ARBITER KHAN from THE CENARION CIRCLE. It was a three-minute fight that saw AK run circles around SYF and in the end AK showed he was indeed a bad guy capable of shaving an opponent's face. Of course, in this case it was a well-placed hit to the groin:

Our first veteran kill saw a three-minute bout between ACRO MANTULA's halfling LORD-VOLDEMORT of SLYTHERIN and PRIMUS's dwarf HOT SPOT of AUTOBOTS: 2005. ACRO's halfling used some serpentine moves on his foe and found the perfect 'hit' spot to pulverize. With some deceptive weapon skills, he put his foe into another world. So so sad.




The second veteran kill was over in a jiffy. STIMPY's human CAPELIN of RANDOM THOUGHTS put down PALOR's elf ASTRADER of LIVE AND LET DIE. Well Cappy did indeed let ASTRADER die as he had random thoughts and accidently killed the elf while thinking of drinking some ale at the local watering hole. Imagine his surprise when he looked down and see a dead elf under his feet!




The final veteran kill was a two-minute fracas between ROB ALLEN's dwarf RIPPER ROB of LORDS OF DARKNESS and SAMURAI!!11's half-elf POSIDEN KEN of BEST GODS. PK had an identity crisis and saw permanent darkness as RR ripped the life from her. Evidently, she did not put on a best god showing but the fans were not robbed of a great kill. I dare say, but I do believe the REAL GOD of the Pit, RA THE VENGEFUL will get vengeance for the death of her sister god. Get your popcorn ready folks, as you will want to watch this one! Hopefully S will post the death of RIPPER ROB shortly.




We had two team kills this week, and both were from the same team! Which still won the match! We had a four-minute massive melee of death between THE WARLORD's HEADHUNTERS composed of three humans (THE WARLOCK, FIRE BALL and GEARHEAD), a half-elf (SHADOW FAST) and a half-orc (GRUMISH) and TORMENTED's WAYWARD SONS made up of FIRSTBORN (halfling), TOMBOY (dwarf), THE BUTCHERS SON (elf), ADOPTED (half-orc) and SON OF SAM (human). Heads were hunted in this match, and after much tormenting some sons were butchered by the wayward tactics of the mixed crew of WS. In the end, SHADOW FAST proved he has NOT fast and that his shadow was easily spotted by his foe. GEAR HEAD lost his life and his head as he was 'adopted' into the afterlife. Well looks like the HEADHUNTERS get two replacements for the win! Hopefully they are good.




Thus ends this year's Kill Fest. So, sharpen your blades and get those hammers and maces ready folks because next year we will hopefully have more players and maybe hit an average of thirty kills a turn. Well, one can always hope.

Quite the brutal week to end the contest!  Did we see Unbalanced announce his intentions to win next year's contest?  And Warlord's team, losing two warriors, but going on to win the fight!  I'd love to read that one!
