A nice end to Kill Fest. 34 souls collected by the Reaper. No blood challenge kills (which really flopped this year), but we did have two challenge kills, four veteran deaths and five team kills (two by the same team!). This last week of KF, D-MAN managed to get three kills and seven managers got two kills with a collection of managers (17) each managing to slaughter one foe on the sands. Heck, even SLEAZEE decided to join this week.......



This brings our eight-week total to 228 kills. 28.5 per week. Well, better than last years' average of 26. Hopefully next year we top thirty per week. Our winner is CAM, with a total of 11 kills! He manages to beat back the competition and still manages to get a kill this week! MODOFO came close to knocking him out and ends with ten kills. GERN and D-MAN come in a close third with 8 kills apiece. We had two managers with seven kills, four managers with six, seven with five, nine with four, twelve with three, twelve with two kills and 22 managers that at least got one kill each. 73 managers with kills. Better than most of the previous years I believe.



Now on to the two challenge kills (as we sadly, and as usual had no blood challenge kills). Our first challenge kill occurred when COMMANDANT EITCH's halfling EARWORM of OH NO IT's challenged BENNY THE BLADE's MATHIUS, a human from his BLESSED stable. Well, after five minutes it was obvious that EARWORM was the blessed one, as he 'infected' MATHIUS brain with his weapon. So sad. MATHIUS did blurt out 'Oh no it's' something when he fell to the sands dead. Sadly, we shall never know what he was muttering about.



Our second, and final challenge kill was a four-minute affair between SLEAZEE's PROFIT OF DOOM, a half-orc from WEWHOARENOTASOTHERS and THE UNSPEAKABLE ONE's half-orc GRISHNAKH of MY HOODED HORDES. Desperate for a kill, PoD decided to profit off of the fact his half-witted foe was wearing a hood and did unspeakable things to GRISHAKH as he delivered G to his doom. Even though PoD was in fact, like his foe, he treated GRISNAKH to an early trip to the cemetery. Such tragedy. Maybe next year PoD will be around to get a few kills during Kill Fest. One can only hope.



We sadly lost four more veterans this last turn. The oldest to fall was THE UNSPEAKABLE ONE's halfling, YODA from MY HOODED HORDES who died in a quick two-minute fight with THE GVNER's halfling, MIERDA of LITTLE WITH BIG. There was nothing little about MIERDA as he chopped his fellow halfling down like a puppet. Wonder if he used a shiny scimitar? Or is he still wielding a halberd? Inquiring minds want to know. After all, isn't the executioner supposed to be the one wearing the hood?



Our next veteran kill happened when GOLDENBOY, MODOFO's halfling from BETTER OFF DEAD took down UL's human, DUINHIR of MIDDLE EARTH in a two-minute brawl. A certain halfling showed he was indeed the goldenboy as he showed all of middle earth that DUINHIR was better off dead. Shed some tears if you want to.



Our third veteran to die lasted only two minutes before he bit the big one. MODOFO's STICK ON A MEAT, a dwarf from I WANT TO BE A CLOWN, took out UL's human, RAISTLIN MAJERE from DRAGON LANCE. SOAM really stuck it to RM and was not clowning around as he made RM a bloody pulp of meat that will never 'rais' again. Three cheers for MODOFO as he took out two veterans in randoms this turn!



Our final veteran to die was CYRUS, SLIV's human from THE HOSTS OF CHAOS who died in a two-minute slugfest with FUSION's half elf SCRAM from NUKES. It was chaotic indeed as SCRAM nuked CYRUS in front of a host of SLIV's fans. SLIV versus FUSION fights are always fun to watch. Unless you are the manager on the losing end of a longspear.



We had five team kills this week, and two of them were from the same team. The first team kill goes to MARCUS's SATAN's NUNS, composed of three humans (THE RED SISTER, SKRUYU and DEWEY CHEATEM), a halfling (NOFU) and an elf (MEGAN MALICE) who fought TORMENTED's PEAK VANQUISH, a team of two elves (WISPY WIND and FOEHN), two dwarves (PLATEAU and BOULDER) and a half elf (SUMMIT). Malice was indeed inflicted on TORMENTED's SUMMIT. As she was vanquished by the sadistic nuns who cheated her of life forever more.



Our second team kill was inflicted by MARCUS's THE DOOM, a dwarf (HURRELL) and two halflings (JAEBEYEL and RUNEYU) who managed to take out one of LOOPER's gladiators from CANNED LAUGHTER, a three-man team which 'had' a half-elf (DUSTIN DIAMOND), a human (THE STICK) and an elf (DICK VAN DYKE). The fight lasted three minutes and was initially so boring that the band had to use some canned laughter to get the crowd involved. However, a certain trio of shrimps managed to be the doom of a certain half-elf who was stuck by a weapon and bit the 'dust'.



Our next team kill happened in a three-minute melee between LOOPER's KIDS' FRIENDS, two half-elves (TONY M and JUSTIN D), two half-orcs (LEXIE R and ZACH I) and a human (ZADEN MB) and TORMENTED's NATURAL RESOURCES, a mixed bag of CANYON (dwarf), LEAF (elf), HUMAN CAPITAL (human), WATER (halfling) and RIVER (half-elf). The only water running after this right, were the tears of TORMENTED's fans. We had yet another non-kid friendly fight as KF used their combined resources to send WATER 'down the river". Maybe NR will have better luck now that Kill Fest is over, but as they are team fighters, we hope they continue to lose gladiators each turn.



They have done it again! But this time, DANNY D BLOODY's RELIGIOUS HALF-ORCS!, a 5-man half-orc team which includes BIGGUS DIKUS, BUDDAHMAN, MAINSE, HEEBUS and GORDO took on KOA's NA LEO PILIMEHANA, which 'had' LIKELIKE, KINOIKI KEAULIKE, POOMAIKELANI, KA'IULANI and LILI'UOKALANI and poor wittle KOA left two dead on the sands of the pit. The five half-orcs were boisterous as they prayed to their god and showed they did not 'like' LIKELIKE. Budda was nowhere to be seen when the half-orcs gave the heebee jeebees to NLP's newest elf and ended his life for good. Thanks for clearing the field DDB!

Well, I may not have been anywhere close to winning, but I am proud to say that none of my stable contributed toward anyone's score.

Now that I've jinxed my stable, I'll have 7 die next week, I'm sure.  

Just like I had to start talking about STEIGHS INN's 17-0-1 streak that ended this week.  Though, in the rematch next week, I think STEIGHS INN will murder his blood challenger.

Funny thing, that bug popped up again, where the BC came through like a regular challenge.

Well done on turvy Vic, that was actually the last BC although it weirdly went through as a normal challenge. I didn't think bawbag had much chance I wanted to try something out. I may try one more time although it a very dangerous hobby for bawbag. Shame my last two kills don't count

Klag, how do decide the length on turns for Killfest? Just wondering about the varying turn durations in the Hall of Fame. Sorry if it's a daft q never noticed they diff before in the results section

Usually 8 weeks unless there is a tie then it goes on.  Kill Fest V was 10 weeks as it was the 5th.  The 10th will probably be 10 weeks as well.
