I recall one evening, many years ago, when Dux and I were chatting about Blood Pit, and he started speaking of GONE FISSION in glowing terms.  I was taken aback, as my future first monster LOPHOMASTIX and GONE FISSION had danced many times.  I was all GRRRR at the mention of GF and Dux asked me why I wasn't more respectful/afraid of him.  My answer was LOPHO, who was 7-3-0 against him and trying desperately to murder the dwarf.  Early in their fights against each other, GF had the upper hand and was 3-1-0 against him, but LOPHO's starting int of 19 vs GF's ending int of 19 made all the difference in the world.  Once the skills piled up, it was enough to 6-0-0 against GF in the end.  

I'm not saying this to poo-poo GONE FISSION.  He was 12-3-0 against the rest of my stables.  My triple short sword finesse elf CARLIA tried time and again to defeat him and failed.  My pickaxe dwarf BURRISA only defeated him once, yet suffered many losses at GF's hands.
