The opening blow NAGES delivered was a shot from his offhand Shortsword. Elves sorta get a bonus attack (maybe 1 a minute at these lower levels those glads are on) when they use offhand 'suddenly'.

I don't think it's a regular attack that randomly goes to the offhand. I think it's a bonus attack that is inherent in using the advantage of Elf ambidexterity.

And as you saw NAGES rode the momentum of that first shot into kicking your assssss.

My one bossome Scythe Elf, LYDIA KRAKEN, who is 15(10) CON and has been since like 30 fights, at first ran Scythe/Scythe.Open Hand until she was ready to go triple scythe.

Always go dual wield with elves when it's one handed, you're using no shield and can take it in terms of encumbrance.

I think I've randomly fought Dylan (975), so would have seen one of my blood cries directing him to Smacktalk and Pitt. One of my guys gave BOLT his first loss on turn 877, when he was 4-0-0 at the time.
