DUX'S HALL OF RECORDS

The new metric is looking great, IMO, but I have noticed something else when looking at the categories. It seems that I have unwittingly given too many points to streak winners. It is currently just as valuable to have the #1 streak warrior as it is to have a tourney champion!!! That is an oversight that needs correcting. The reason is that the LONGEST WINNING STREAK EVER #1 slot gets 5 points for that accomplishment, but he also gains another 5 points for the LONGEST WINNING STREAK (50-99 fights) catagory giving him a total of 10 points for that accomplishment! This would be Rolph Spicer. My own warrior, Splinter is 3rd place LONGEST WINNING STREAK EVER gaining him 3 points and then he gets 5 points for the sub-catagory LONGEST WINNING STREAK (0-49 fights) for a total of 8 points! This is just not right!

So for the correction:
LONGEST WINNING STREAK EVER will remain 1-5 points.
but the sub-categories [(IE LONGEST WINNING STREAK (50-99 fights)] will be 1-3 points.

This will reduce the metric scores of a handful of warriors who are listed on the top 20 metric.

The metric is calculated as follows:
10 points for Tourney Champion
7 points for Monster Slot
5 points for Contest Champion
1-5 points for five slot categories (1st place is 5 points and last place is 1 point)
1-3 points for three slot categories (1st place is 3 points and last place is 1 point)
1 point for every regular fight kill (elbow-drop BC kills are not counted)
1 point for every kill as a monster
*no point will be given for OLDEST WARRIOR records.

* Ties will be broken by youth, win/loss percentage and finally by kills.
* turn numbers at the right of a warrior indicates that the warrior still has a chance to gain more points. Any warrior that has no turn number next to it in this list is no longer able to increase their score because they are dead or retired.

Woo hoo! Been waiting a long time to get someone in Duxs hall of records. Gurps has surpassed all expectations, now lets see if he can do as well in his next 50 fights.. if he lives that long!      

Once again thanks to Dux for not doing a elbow drop BC on Gurps that would have all most certainly seen him lose and let Xenith keep the top spot all to him self!  

While I will sometimes throw a challenge or two to warriors that are about to take a major record to make sure they are at least deserving of the slot, I really think it's cheap to knock people off via elbow-drops. I rarely do elbow-drops in any event. Basically, I really would like to see the best warrior win even if it means my own warriors are not at the top. I want to look at Dux Hall of Records and see absolutely the best guys around! It feels good when a warrior like Gurps is slotted #1!
