Hey guys, every now and again I see the underdog of an elbow-drop BC win the fight. On rare occasion a really brave manager will BC up more than double their own fighters experience and win! This always inspires me and I want to reward it.

I am considering making a slight modification of the rules to reward warriors that won when they were elbow-dropped or when they reverse elbow-dropped and won. The way I am thinking of doing this is that if they win as an underdog that win can effectively erase a minus point they earned from an elbow-dropping they may have done themselves. Any thoughts on if this is a good idea or not?

Also, if such a rule is implemented does anyone know of a quick way of searching the data to find such fights. I already know how to make a bat file that can search all BC history and list all fights, but then I would have to manually look over the entire list of all BC history and weed out the underdog wins, which would take me FOREVER. If there is a way I can tune the bat file to narrow down the data and save time I would really be interested in making this rule modification.

Hmmm... could you have your batch file do some simple arithmetic and comparisons? Add up the w/l of the winner (Z), and the w/l of the loser(Y). If Zx2 <= Y then it prints the line for your review. Maybe make the multiplier 1.5 and cast a wider net.

Boggle was such a slow starter I didn't really notice he was finally getting dangerous. He's pretty permed up himself though, so he probably wont be bothering people for to much longer

Boggle uses the boarspear , the whole boarspear, and nothing but the boarspear.

I need to mention that Player Two needs a record adjustment. Originally I had given him a bonus point for loss that I thought he took from an elbow-drop.
Upon looking again, I found he did not lose that fight - he won it. As I have yet to decide whether or not to change the rules regarding this yet, I can't give that bonus point for the time being. Alright, thanks to some input from Vic Vegas, I figured out a quick way to sort out the underdog wins in elbowdrops.
There were only two instances that affected wins at all. Of course to save a lot of time, I only check current record holders. There may be warriors that would benefit enough from underdog wins to earn records that I haven't seen because they aren't current record holders. In the event that we implement this rule, I will do a more thorough search, but for now I think the examples I have found below should be enough to help people form opinions. I figured there would be a lot more of them in the current records because I have seen them often enough and I suppose when I see one I can't forget it.

Well, there are a fair number of these underdog wins, but few of those warriors who have the underdog wins ALSO have a record slot in which it would affect - PANCHO not being one of those record holders.

As of today, this rule affects two warriors that I could find easily. Player Two being one of them. I noticed an error in the way I calculated Player Two originally, where I had unconsciously given him a bonus point a month back to nullify one of his minus points. Well upon reflection, that bonus point was for a win when he was elbow-dropped on. Under the old rules, he would get no special benefit from that win, but under these new rules, it would give him a benefit.

The other warrior that this affected was my own PITT, who got two wins from beating up on an elbow-dropper. This will move PITT up in the all time 100 fight records, BUT I also noticed an error I had made in his original calculation. Stalker and Sanguine reverse elbow-dropped PITT, which gave PITT two wins that his record needed to be adjusted for that I hadn't noticed. As PITT lost his 101st, but won his 102 fight, his record would be adjusted with an extra loss. The net effect of the two situations is that PITT's three bonuses from elbow-drops he received (two of which he won) will nullify the 3 elbow-drops he put down on lower level opponents. When all is said and done that will raise his current rank up. His record will be adjusted to be --> PITT 81-19-8 (-3 +3=0 record adjusted for two reverse elbow-drop wins)

Going through the records I have noticed occasional things I have missed that resulted in errors in the records. It would be really cool if there was someone that could double-check my work with each new record so as to avoid the kind of error that happened with PITT where I didn't notice Stalker's reverse elbow-drop when I gave him his record slot. Anyone willing to help out along these lines?

I hope people consider these affects and possibly the ways that it may benefit or detract from warriors when BC's occur. Some courageous managers may be able to actually take advantage of these rules and get some bonuses for their awesome warriors by doing well-placed reverse elbow-drops. Wouldn't that be cool!?

Forgot to mention that I would also apply this rule to kills. If your warrior gets a kill as an underdog, that will cancel out one elbow-drop kill minus that the warrior may have accrued. I'm not sure how often this has happened, but a quick check shows TIBOR is one such warrior!.
As it turns out TIBOR has -1 +1 for kills and -1+2 for wins. the extra + for wins over his -1 will only benefit him if he does another elbow-drop at some point, and it would only affect his 250 fight record. The kill happened early in his career, so it would affect any kill records he may have.
