DUX'S HALL OF RECORDS

The Monster Contest on Turn 888 produced the seventh monster slot.

Through accident, I lost the post i had been previewing detailing the Monster Contest's effect on the records. Then I lost all my pasted notes. Grrrrrr. I went back to the laptop I was using at the time and couldn't find the txt files. I still owe the managers and the hall of records a write-up.

OFFSPRING had accidentally been given a metric point for the slaughter of one Sanguine Savior's stable. The point and warrior name have been erased. The gladiator had reached the 100 fight threshhold, but was still too young for a point to be awarded vs OFFSPRING.

It's been quite a long time since I checked in here.
I noticed that there have been a few new records made but not recorded.

To update things, could you help out?
Since the last Dux Hall of Fame update, what records have been achieved?

I see Komodo Dragon's 15th kill and Ray of Lights kill of Better Than You.
Anything else need recording?

It looks like SJS had a successful monster defense in a 5-round match this turn.  I hope that fight gets posted here, but I don't think MELIODAS is an active poster.

BIGGO (human-war flail/tower) beat MENDELSON SHAPE to become my third monster.

NAPOLEON BORNABARN (human-flail/tower) has made second-place in the 50-fight bigger than a barn record at 39-11-1.

LELU, to answer an earlier question, kills only count as the tie-breaker (not as wins).  So your Halfling would have needed to be 42-8-4 instead of 40-10-4 to have a record. Very fearsome warrior you have there!

No, Vic Vegas is in charge of DHOR. I'm just filling in a little while he is away. The decision has been made and the record will stand.

I'll likely be away for a long time, so if anyone gets a record, could you please make a comment here in the thread so Vic can get to it when he is available or I can should I pop back in here at some point.

Thank you Spirit of Dux for these updates. I'm up to my eyeballs with parenting, which is new for me, but very fulfilling, fun and exhausting.

On turn 966, Fusion's epic horc JAYNE took the #1 spot in the Best Half-Orc 100 fight record!  By a long shot, too!  Off the list is Fusion's own SLOBGOBLIN who was just a hair behind the former 1st and 2nd place horcs.

Amazing record, Fusion! No other half-orc even comes close to that record. Rarely, these days, do I take interest in particular warriors, but this record is captivating. I'd love to see some of Jayne's fights!

Many congratulations to Modofo for See Jane Stab for displacing Lord Darius and taking 3rd place in the metric, and to Offspring for displacing Ratyr and taking 6th place in the metric. Another record to note is that Offspring has now tied Lord Darius with 10 successful monster slot defenses. Just one more successful defense will make Offspring the most successful monster of all time.

I had erroneously placed SEE JANE STAB beneath LORD DARIUS because of her (-1) but the Spirit of Dux reminded me that it applies to win/loss/kill record ties, and not metric point ties.

Wow, I never imagined one of my warriors would surpass the legendary LORD DARIUS.  He was *the* legend when I started playing (which was just before the rise of the ridiculously tough SPLINTER).  

Vic, thanks to you and Dux for keeping this up.  PILTDOWN MAN has always used a war flail/tower when facing me.

Fusion's gladiator CHERNOBYL has set the Dwarf longevity record and is the second oldest warrior, just one fight behind LUKA SKYRUNNER.
