Kill Fest, Week 8 (Turn 804) Results

Kill Fest III, Turn 8
Well at least this turn had some kills. 24 to be exact. And with one turn to go on killfest things are heating up. Only one challenge kill this turn but we did have nine upper ranked kills as well as a slugfest in a team fight where three died...two on the winning team! Four managers took two lives each, while sixteen each gathered another kill. Three new managers joined the kill fest! 176 total kills for the eight weeks so far. Let us at least get to 200 for this last turn!
CAM(544) managed to get the ONLY challenge kill of the week! He sent TABASCO SAUCE from SPICE UP A SNACK(1298) against MORRISON, THE HIGH PRIEST(897)'s human from BROTHERS IN BLOOD(2048). Three minutes later the other brother we saw in blood was Morrison, as he became a snack for Death with a sprinkling of 'Tabasco Sauce' to spice him up.
We had an amazing and awe-inspiring total of nine uber warriors kiss the sand permanently this turn. How sad for them but great for us as perhaps there will be some retaliation kills this turn that will extend the contest even longer! VIC VEGAS(341)'s dwarf APPLE NEWTON from FOSSILS(1102) scratched #11 on his weapon this turn as he took down CHI(828)'s dwarf DWARLIN from UNDER THE MOUNTAIN(1823) in a two minute match. It appears that in a few years Dwarlin will indeed be just a fossil as Newton's 'apple' fell and sent him under the mountain forever! How sad. Vic also took another high profile warrior when RATCHET his
half-orc from ONOMATOPEIA(1021) felled UL(801)'s human ALLANON from SHANNARA(1765). This too was a two minute slap down. Looks like Vic's half-orc can 'ratchet' another kill onto his weapon as well. Allanon died in the book and on the sands as well. Looks like 'Onomatopeia' is living up to his name and ratcheting up the kills!
The GVNER(842)'s CHRISTINE CHAPLE, a half-elf from STAR TREK(1862) killed CAYNAZZO, SONS OF SATAN(149)'s dwarf from SONS OF SATAN(409). It took three minutes but Christine sent Caynazzo to be with Satan or at least out of the world of the living. Heck we all know dwarves like it under the ground anyway. He should be happy. SLIV(356)'s half-elf EVIL MAC from THE HOSTS OF CHAOS(791) took out CAM(544)'s halfling TESSARARIUS from the TENTH LEGION(1248). Looks like Mac got evil and hosted his own chaos on a poor halfling. Guess the Tenth Legion will be down one warrior for awhile! Tess had a dang good record 62-24-7. That has got to hurt! Too bad the rest of the legion is a year behind. We wont see a retaliation here.
Five minutes was all that EYE OF THUNDERA(821)'s Half-orc PANTHRO from the THUNDERCATS(1872) needed to finish off TOUCHSTONE, BLUE EYES(890)'s human from THE GREAT SONG(1961). Panthro caterwalled a great song and thundered Touchstone into the ground permanently. Guess Eye can always revisit the match when he goes to the grave yard and touches 'stone'. Perhaps Anu will rack up kill #5?? Well we only have this turn to see unless we have lots of strategic kills this turn. WARDANCER(830)'s human PROMISE from LEGION(1848) took out DEVIL(803)'s half-orc LORD VOLDERMORT from HA;F-ORCS(1763). It only took three minutes for Wardancer's human to keep a promise and get a kill for the legion. We just wonder if The Spartan will come after the Legion now?
HUNTER(833)'s human GERARD from SEEKERS(1830) took down UL(801)'s halfling ZAKATH from BELGARIAD(1770) in a four minute bout. Gerard managed to
'seek' his way into Zakath's skin and cause a fatal wound. Well halflings are runts so what do you expect? We are just surprised it took four minutes
. LYNX-O, EYE OF THUNDERA(821)'s Elf from THUNDERCATS(1872) got the 2nd kill for his stable this turn when he took on VIRGIL, ARRIAN(896)'s human from WRECKING CREW(1972). Four minutes in and the only thing that was wrecked was Virgil when Lynx caused and 'O' to come from the crowd. Thundercats strike again! (just like their show 
). Finally for the last upper rank random kill we had PRIMUS(838)'s halfling SWINDLE from DECEPTICONS: 2005(1850) kill THE MANIPULATOR(850)'s half-elf MIMULUS from TEMPTATIONS(1926) in a quick two minute bout. Primus manipulated the match and swindled The Manipulator out of a gladiator. It was just too 'tempting' to 'min'u-mize' The Manipulator's stable by one gladiator. Man what a deception!
We also had a slug-fest in the team match-ups. MR ANGRY(851)'s only stable THE ANGRY CREW(1871) took on STAMFORD(855)'s only stable CFC(1879). Four minutes in and three gladiators were dead....two from Mr. Angry's crew, NASTY PIECE OF WORK(dwarf) and YOU BETTER RUN(human). Stamford lost CARLO CUDICINI and elf with a years worth of experience. It was a nasty piece of work, but Mr. Angry won the match even though he was down two gladiators. He took top spot in the rankings with 100% and Stamford took last place with 0% but two kills! You better run will be the new slogan for CFC. Wonder if they face off again this upcoming week!
Cam catapulted himself into first place with eight kills, but a late push by Vic has him tied for 2nd with Klagrok and Drachir with seven kills apiece. The Bad Guy holds his own in third with six kills, while seven managers have five each, six have four, fourteen have three kills, eleven have two, and seventeen have at least gotten on the boards. Who will win this killfest? Or will it continue with a tie for first place? Guess we will know in about ten hours or so!
