Kill Fest V

Heck, totally forgot about Kill Fest V.  Figure we should start it a week or two after the UW ends?   Chime in folks.

Ok folks, as the UW is officially over, it is time to get ready for Kill Fest V!
I figure I will send out blood cries this week and we can officially start on the 10th of July.


The rules will be as they were for the other Kill Fests:

1) All kills but PEASANT kills count towards a manager's total.
2) Team Kills (with the exception of rule #1) count as well.
3) Blood Challenge kills count towards a manager's total. Hoping to see MANY of these as well as some feuds....
4) Contest will run for 10 weeks, unless there is no winner in which case it will continue week to week until one manager has the most kills.


However, as this is #5 I am open to suggestions to change it up a bit…maybe it goes longer…or a successful BC kill counts for more? Lemme know what you guys/gals wanna do!

Well folks I did think of one thing this week---if a gladiator kills a MONSTER, well, they should be rewarded with at least one kill if not more! Might be changing the rules to give such a rare killer a kill, but for this year, heck I am going to make a successful monster kill count as 5 kills.  Now to edit the regular contest rules....

Ok as DUX pointed out probably not a good idea to give points to new monsters (unless they go the Keeper that is ).

Will this result in a mass monstering on the last day of the contest?  I hope so!!!

If REPLACEMENT BO and REQUIEM OF BLOOD kill their (qualified) challengers, does that mean I get a killfest point?

Seems like giving extra points to monster kills would unfairly bias the contest toward senior managers. Just a thought.

I’m just fishing for ideas. I guess as becoming a monster doesn’t actually give you a kill I should probably go back to the original rules and only count the kills that are listed for the turn. But I think I am going to run it 10 weeks this year for to hopefully give people some more chances of winning the contest.
