Kill Fest III, Turn 3
Well week 3 improved the pathetic kill total by 1. There were 21 kills this week, 16 single match kills and five challenge kills (of which four
were the challenger). Appears that challenging is a good way to die . We did have a stand-out with DEVIL taking three lives. Guess he forgot
that the kill fest was on and wants to be in the top contention like he was in the last two Kill Fests. CAM, BLUE EYES and FIREBIRD all took two
lives and 12 managers managed to wrangle up a kill each. Eleven of the sixteen managers on the list this week killed their first victims of the
contest.
Of the five challenge kills, only the first one went to the challenger. FIREBIRD(908)'s half-elf LA FENICE(1988) from THE PHOENIX RISING(1988) challenged MODOFO(783)'s elf MAD HAVOC(1715) from BORN SIDEWAYS(1715). It took four minutes, but there will be no rising phoenix for Mad. Guess after La Fenice cried havoc and knocked Modofo's elf sideways there will be one mad Modofo. I see a kill in Draz's future....if he decides to go flesh mining that is.
The remaining four challenge kills all went to the challenged. BATTLE MAXIMUS, SLEAZEE P MARTINEE(137)'s half-orc from his stable *CARNIVAL OF CHAOS*(394) was challenged by COMMANDER-IN-CHIEF(817)'s halfling VESPASIAN 7 from the BARBARIAN HUNTERS(1807). It took two minutes for this carnival to end, but Maximus sowed chaos into Vespasian's life and #7 ended up being the hunted. Too bad our regular Multi has no one to avenge his death....well too bad for Sleazee as he could get another kill. DAN DREAD of ARRIAN(896)'s stable DEATHLY SHADES(2030) decided to challenge KOMODO DRAGON, JINX(907)'s half-elf from THE CUTTING EDGE(1987). Komodo had no dread of the human sent against her. In three minutes she used some cutting edge moves to put Dan into a deathy shade of the permanent type. Don't mess with a dragon, especially of the komodo variety. Then we had HOME SHINE, HATRED(873)'s human from WHERES THE 'ARM(1916) who decided to challenge ANIMAL CRACKERS, FIREBIRD(908)'s dwarf from THE UNKOWNS(2001) (ummm Fire assuming that is a typo?). There was no shining from Home this week..unless you count the gleam off the steel of the weapon that killed him that is. Yes animal crackers are usually very tasty, but if you are going to eat them make sure you use both your "'arms". Otherwise you will be cracked and you will be 'armed. Finally we have a four minute bout between TRAFFIC COP 4, another of C-in-C(817)'s gladiators from COMPLETELY SOBER(1811), and MANTA, BIG BAD BRUINFAN(173)'s elf from his stable KISS OF DEPTH(481). Well as can be expected, C-in-C's dwarf was NOT completely sober and received his kiss of 'depth' from Manta. This is one traffic cop that made the mistake of getting in the way of the oncoming traffic..so so sad. Please cry for him. Or not if you like to see multi's die.
Now on to the memorable deaths from single fights this turn. First we have LITTLE WEAK BRUINFAN, a dwarf from C-in-C(817)'s stable BARBARIAN HUNTERS(1807) winning a two minute duel against TRAIN TIMES, THE MANIPULATOR(850)'s half-orc from TEMPTATIONS(1926). This 69-15-5 dwarf seems to be on his way up the charts. Little Weak charged like a train and manipulated a certain half-orc into the ground permanently. Will Manipulator resist the temptation to go after this dwarf? Next we have ANU, BLUE EYES(890) dwarf from THE GREAT SONG(1961) killing BACK BREAKING BABE, a female dwarf from KLAGROK KEENEYES(641) stable SHATTERED HOPES(1449). It took three minutes for Anu to shatter my hopes. Anu was singing a great song as he broke this babe's back. Revenge will be swift indeed. HAGFISH, NATURE(848)'s dwarf from WEIRD CREATURES(1866) took down AMBERLE ELESSEDIL UL(801)'s elf from SHANNARA(1765). This weird creature took only two minutes to kill Ul's gladiator. It appears the only 'hag' in this case is the one that was put down. Sorry Ul, but that is 'nature' at it's finest.....dwarf killing elf. Finally we have DEVIL(803)'s half-orc THE SPARTAN from his stable HA;F-ORCS(1763) (really folks, two spelling mistakes in one week. PLEASE check your typing before you hit that ENTER key) killing JACKALMAN, EYE OF THUNDERA(821)'s halfling from THE MUTANTS(1874) in four minutes. The only jackal in this match was the one that came in after this spartan fight and started eating a certain halfling's remains. Halflings make bad mutants anyway from what I have heard. Sooo scary.
Three weeks have passed for this third killfest, and we stand at a grand total of 61 kills. By far the worst showing yet for this contest. Methinks we need everyone to challenge so we can have a good chunk of the challengers die and exact revenge. Or stop making sissy gladiators and everyone justs goes TOTAL KILL. So far Ilneval and Drachir are tied for first place with four kills each...with four others close on their heels with three kills. But we do have ten contestants with two kills who could easily jump into first place with a good round. Finally twenty-one managers have one kill apiece..and some of them are suprising as they should be on the top of the heap. Come on folks get some kills!

One of those long minutes, such as when on the phone and you hear the voice say "We have your test results... back in a minute."
