Smacktalk is down again

Hey, heads up appears smalktalk is down again...just get the generic boardhost page.  I tried posting this under SMALKTALK but only admins can post there.  Hopefully it is the same problem as last time it was down.

I sent a message using their "contact us" form. We'll see what happens. I'm guessing it got swept up in some sort of "violent language" filter.

I have the resources to set up the third incarnation of Smacktalk on my webhosting service. It could be smacktalk . vicvegas . com. All we need is something for me to install/configure on my webhosting platform and we're good to go. No more sudden forum removal.

Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated.

Ugghhhh. It took me quite a while to set that board up the last time when Nemesis left the game. I don't know if I have the time right now to work on it or not.

From a spectator's perspective, I wonder what the purpose of that other board is anyway. Is this forum insufficient?

I know it says that "Blood Bath" is for bragging and calling others out, but could we possibly have a "Smack Talk" at the very top to just call someone out or to get a brief message out?

I am open to suggestions. If we think that the Smacktalk board is kind of outdated and we can do something else here, I am all for that. It saves me the time and effort to rebuild the old board. I have been digging and for some reason we were canceled on our smacktalk board. Pisses me off that they did that without any type of advance notice. That board took me a few days initially to recreate from way back when Nemesis had the boards. I don't know that I have the time or the ambition to recreate it again, but if the concensus is to rebuild it, I can certainly try, but it won't happen quickly. Again, it is a community decision that should be made. The one thing that I have loved about this game and these boards is that everyone has a voice and we truly work as a community to better our enjoyment.

Couldn't we just use the smalktalk under Blood Cries?

Yes, that would be very easy to do.  Right now it is just a link to the "non-existent" board, but I could change that easily enough and could actually move that topic to a different spot on this board.  Again, I am open to suggestions.
