Here's a strategy to ensure at least some of your guys fight if you have a dead gladiator(s) and you forget to upload replacements.

When I first started playing, I selected 'Always' for the Run option, and didn't like the spoiler of seeing it set to 'No' and knowing that one of my guys died. The last straw was when, knowing at least one gladiator had died, I got to my last fight to read, with my oldest warrior, and I knew he was going to die. It took the fun out of reading the fight. I can say, I do not miss the fear of dread that would come with reading fights when I knew the Grim Reaper (Ilneval) had visited my stables.
