Turn is running

Week 9 of UW is about to be in the books and we see a return of Gern to the sands which shall soon flow red with blood.

Turn is running! Too bad Kill Fest didn't start this week. Modofo, I'm not a fan of that bigger than a barn beast!

As I type, ones and zeros are being transformed into blood and gore.

Blood and Mayhem are on the horizon.

Not much blood and little mayhem this turn but only 44 managers got their orders loaded. Hopefully more next week!

Here we go! The final stretch of KILLFEST!

And we got some kills to boot Vic!

Well the turn isn't running yet but I'm predicting that Kill Fest goes another week or that VIC or SLEAZEE win it with 9 total kills this week.

Well shi-it I was correct....looks like VIC won! All three of the top dogs killed fools this turn, but VIC got three, while SANGUINE only got two an PALOR got one.

Okay, okay.   So a bunch of my guys are still talking about KILLFEST in their blood cries.  I've been too busy taking advantage of stupid Artificial Intelligence to change it.

Not to spread my personal gloom, but my eldest dog Murphy crossed the rainbow bridge a couple of days ago and my other dog's health is rapidly failing.  I named THE GINGER SHADOW after Murph, so let's hope GINGER harvests a soul this week.

The dog in my profile pic is a friend's old, long gone pooch. The spots on one of her sides spelled "Love" and she was truly a creature filled with it.

I'd be fine with a 20-5-10 turn today.

Well Vic you came close on the first two lines! But that last one, well it was almost the total for the whole arena. Glad Killfest not running now!

I'm on my third viewing of Red Dwarf, a fantastic sci-fi/comedy from the good ol' BBC.  Every time I watch it, there's something new to appreciate/love.  

Plenty of nerds already know about and have consumed the show, which is readily available in the U.S.  But what about The Brittas Empire?  A decidedly more domestic comedy starring Chris Barrie (Rimmer on Red Dwarf).  I don't think this show has made it to this side of the pond, but if you are familiar with the Bay of Pirates, you can find it easily enough, included in a large collection of early Red Dwarf seasons.

Oh, and the turn is running.

Turn is running! Keep your stilettos crossed and your dwarves away from the ale! Oh and let the blood flow. Let's hope for a good 30 deceased gladiators this turn!
