    Well at least we had a few managers show up for turn 5.  24 gladiators are no more (well not counting the scum sent to the monsters). LELU DALLAS led the charge this week killing 3 foes and five managers actually killed two opponents this week! This brings our 5 week total up to 110 kills....not the greatest total but we do have a narrow gap between first and third place that can easily change in the next three weeks.  Let's hope that happens folks! As the fans want to see blood!
Leading the pack now is PALOR with a total of six kills.  Four managers have five kills, five managers have four kills, seven managers have three kills, 13 managers have two kills and 16 managers have one kill each.
   
    Blood challenges again proved to be a no show.  Well given the amount of 'kills' the last few weeks it is not surprising.
Hopefully next week we will see KILL KILL KILL down that right hand column of the Blood challenges! One can always dream.  This turn was a dream come true for challenge kills though! A grand total of five of them and of these two were the challenger! Our first challenge kill resulted in the challenged  ZENITH PRO (2079), an elf from LELU DALLAS's THE SCNG  putting down PRINCESS JANEEL (1981), SURTUR's elf from TRILLIUM.  It was a three minute affair, but Zenith proved he was indeed a pro and ended Janeel's royal lifestyle permanently.  So sad to see elves killing elves.  Guess ZP didn't like the little princess's ears.  Our next challenge kill occured when DRYDER, WARLORD's elf from KILLING TIME took out                   THE DEMOLISHER, EYE OF THUNDERA's halfling from SPIRITS OF EVIL in a quick one minute slaughter.  Dryder was not killing time as he demolished a certain halfling while smiling an evil grin.  Guess TD is just a spirit now. Another halfling is gone and we the fans cannot express our sorrow for the loss except by tossing down a 'spirit' or two at the local watering hole...here is to killing time!  
Next we have TIGER PRINCESS's elf BUTTER CUP, from the FANTASTIC FIVE challenging and killing KIRA, THE GVNER's elf from CERTAIN LOSERS in a two minute fight.  Kira was indeed a certain loser as Butter Cup showed he was no butter cup and won a fantastic fight.  More elf on elf carnage for us to enjoy as we eat our buttercups at the tavern....sorry gov'nah! our forth challenge kill was a two minute rumpus between THE WARLORD's human POLAR BEAR from the STREET FIGHTER'S and SLEAZEE P MARTINEE's dwarf HAGGIS MACHAGGIS of his WEWHOARENOTASOTHERS team.  PB was not frigid in this contest and showed he could fight like a bear as he made haggis out of HM's innards and had himself a good meal on the sands! That is one dwarf who lived up to his team name and is now not like the others...ie living.  I do see a bloodbath coming PBs way so stay tuned as we might be reporting his demise next turn! Live while you can, PB, live while you can.  Our final challenge fight was a three minute affair between DUKE OF DYNAMITE, SLEAZEE P MARTINEE's human of TAO OF THE DEVIL and THE WARLORD's human THUMPER of the STREET FIGHTER'S.  Good ole Thumper challenged the Duke and paid the ultimate price.  He thought he could fight, but instead god the bad end of the devil and was thumped out of existence in a dynamic  fashion by double D.
   Now on the the veteran deaths.  We only had two this turn and both were short two minute scraps.  In the first one, OLD HICKORY, STIMPY's half orc from RANDOM THOUGHTS killed BULGAKOV, LELU DALLAS's elf from THE AMESA SPENTA.  It was anything but a random thought (well perhaps not as half orcs are not known to have too many thoughts anyway so how could they have random ones?) as OH planted Bulgakov in the ground permanently. Guess good ole Bulgy won't be writing any more.  Or doing much of anything now. Sad it is. D-MAN's elf ALATTON GILDRATHA of the D-MEN took out GLOIN, CHI's dwarf from UNDER THE MOUNTAIN.  Guess Gloin won't be finding any dragon treasure as AG sent him under the mountain permanently.  In this case D stands for death.  R.I.P little buddy, rest in peace.
